I'm Dario Hudon, an editorial wedding photographer in Calgary and the photographer behind Le Café Studio, with more than five years of photography behind me.
My background is fashion and editorial photography. That is where I learned to read light quickly, to make people comfortable in front of a camera, and to see a portrait before it happens. At a wedding I use all of it quietly: a little direction for the portraits, then I step back and let the day be yours.
I photograph weddings and elopements in Calgary, Banff and Canmore. You get a clear price, a calm photographer and photographs you own.
Before the day we build the timeline together: when the light is best for portraits, where to go if the weather turns, and how much time the two of you want away from your guests. On the day you will barely notice me until it is time for portraits, and then I will tell you exactly where to stand and let the rest come naturally.
